In the context of an increasingly complex global landscape, the challenges facing peacebuilding efforts worldwide have become more pronounced, requiring for innovative approaches and practices to make peace. The Catholic Church is cultivating a culture of peace in many areas torn by war, as a foundation for Integral Human Development. However, the essential leadership contributions of women in the Church’s peacebuilding efforts—across all levels and in diverse ways— is not sufficiently recognized, supported, or tapped.
